While setting up Obrębski Adwokaci i Radcowie Prawni we worked on an assumption to create a legal office specializing in precisely determined fields of law, and in particular in cases concerning reprivatization and works of art trade. Another specialization constitute agrarian, construction, water law and issues connected with defamation of character and violation of personal goods. A team of the office constitute lawyers, who for many years have taken part in complex court proceedings and worked in State Treasury Solicitors’ Office and construction supervision office, what gives an advantage in knowledge of opponents’ practice. Long-lasting experience and individual attitude to each case have let us achieve notable successes. The office involves in its structures experienced archivists, that makes possible to collect all necessary documents on its own. A cooperation with qualified geodesists, soil classificators, urban planners and civil engineers lets to provide a complex service.
The office cooperates with Polish Association of Landowners (Polskie Towarzystwo Ziemiańskie), whose members are former landowners, deprived of their estates within agrarian reform (reforma rolna) in 1944. Within this cooperation the office represents PTZ in proceedings before the ombudsman in order to cause legislative changes and question a constitutionality of legal regulations violating landowners’ rights. Additionally, having an experience in European law, Obrębski Adwokaci i Radcowie Prawni takes actions before European Commission and European Parliament in order to persuade Polish authorities to pass a reprivatization bill.
Obrębski Adwokaci i Radcowie Prawni also acts pro bono in favour of Community of Poles Expelled and Aggrieved by Germans from 1939 to 1945.
