The growing interest in works of art and movable antiquities makes it increasingly popular to create private, highly profiled collections. What we are not always aware of, however, is that in the case of firearms, also antique pieces of purely historical value to us usually require a gun permit.

We meet the needs of weapon collectors, as well as those wishing to acquire weapons for sporting purposes, hunting or for protecting property or carrying out historical reconstructions, by offering legal assistance throughout the entire process of obtaining a weapon permit. We also advise on the issue of transporting and importing weapons to Poland (as well as their transit). It should be borne in mind that possession of weapons without a permit may lead to their confiscation.

We specialise, among others, in:

  • comprehensive administration of administrative proceedings before the Police authorities on the subject of obtaining a weapon permit,
  • advice and assistance in obtaining the necessary documents required from a candidate applying for a gun permit, including medical and psychological certificates,
  • obtaining a certificate from the competent consul of the Republic of Poland entitling to transport/carry weapons and ammunition across/onto the territory of the Republic of Poland,
  • representation in criminal cases concerning offences of illegal possession or import of weapons on the territory of the Republic of Poland.
